Degree in zoology. please help =[?

okay i want to go to akron university and major in biology/zoology. once i do that. i want to transfer out to a different college in ohio and go for a masters or phd in herpetology. which colleges in ohio can i do that in? and would i need a masters or phd in herp. to be able to do this? i want to be able to work in a zoo maybe. i want to work with reptiles and amphibians and do research out in the wild on there habitat and activity and things like that. so would i need a masters or phd for this? i know exactly what i wanna do but i just dont know how to do it and thats the bad part. i know exactly what i want. just not how to get it. im 17, junior in highschool. so its early but not too early to be deciding. i dont wanna go in blind.
