I have a samsung 932bw monitor which would stay on for only a few seconds after i pressed the power on?

i bought new fluorescent tubes and changed them out, but it still cuts off after being on for a couple seconds. i tried connecting it to different towers, but still no luck. if there is something wrong on the board, would i be able to notice? would it be worth it to fix it anyway? i already spent about 40 bucks on the new lights.
