Do you feel that the church encouraged you to marry??

I married but more out of it was the thing I was taught to do to grow up get married and have a family, then my bf died and I felt like I would never meet any one again. Then I met my ex and I feel that I was almost co-hersed into it, and now I am divorced because he cheated on me with a 14 year old as well as chatted and web cammed with other women and also physically and verbally abused me. It has been two years since we separated and we are now filing the divorce together. I don't love him any more but I have also let go of the bitterness towards him. We have a daughter together and he still gets to see her (this is because the girl and parents never pressed charges they moved to Oklahoma). Anyways I am still a Christian and I love God and am closer to him than ever. But I just wonder if there are others out there that have gone through the same thing? And what denomination was it that you went to.
