What does he want from me?

Ok split up with a guy a few months ago it was a joint decisions as we both had external issues, now I don't often keep in touch with ex's as its just a pain I remember why now. He asked could we stay friends and as we had split on good terms to a degree I agreed. Since then I could happily kill him and hes now killing any feelings I had left for him. I seem to be the one always having to get in touch with him, he does get in touch with me very rarely his states hes busy or "you know I hate texting", when we do chat im aware he is busy and will always be polite and say I will let you go and his answer is "you don't have to". Some days is flirting is worse than it ever was when we were together, he is always asking if I would do ual things to him, so ive called his bluff and he panics. Then other days he just ignores me, its so confusing. Ive asked him would he rather call it a day on our friendship, he said no he wants me around and would miss me so why ignore me then. I texted him four days ago and told him if you want me you know were I am and I haven't heard from him since. Any ideas.
