Does long distance running affect sprinting speed?
Alright so I run track and I'm a sprinter. I run the 100, 4x1, and 300 hurdles. These are all sprinting events. Track has ended and I decided that I'm going to try and stay in shape because the soccer season starts mid August, also for my own enjoyment because I've come to like running believe it or not. Anyway my question is since I'm running long distance will it affect my sprinting ability? Will it make me a slower sprinter is what I'm trying to say basically. Thanks for your help and please respond with a good answer thanks guys/girls.
