If you son wrote in the bathroom...."I have a bomb" What would you do?

I didnt read your whole post, but what i can gather is that he is a kid who did something stupid. No matter what time you live in a kid is still a kid, with not too much understanding of consequences of stupid actions. He was mad, and wanted to get a rouse...It just so happens we live in a time where schools get locked down because a kid writes something on a bathroom wall.....my nephew took a knife to school once, just to show his friends...and it caused a frenzy, and he got in trouble. When i was a kid, you could take a knife for show and tell...its just different now, and you need to really try to get that through to him. It can cause alot more trouble than its worth, mostly for the parents, but he wont want to be put in that kind of light either, hes almost a teenager, the most self absorbed things on the planet. I think most kids dont mean real harm when they do things like that, like i said, i think its the way things are now, but it still doesnt excuse the behavior either.
